Visual: [link] His hair is straight and cut in a two-block fashion. He's got slanted eyes and thin, slanted eyebrows. His lips are also thin, and while resting they form a ^ shape, so he basically always looks like (ب‸ب)... His face is described in the manga as "a face that suits both genders", which is obvious since he and his sister Yayoi basically have the same face. As far as expressions go, Uenoyama is described as usually looking "regal" and having an "overlord" type of appearance to him. He is the kind of guy who very rarely ever smiles, but has a plethora of highly expressive frowns at his disposal. Right now his body is toned and decently athletic, but he strives to eventually build more muscle.

History:  As a sort of child prodigy, Uenoyama became pretty popular within the underground indie rock music circle for his impressive guitar skills at an early age. He even recorded a CD independently that sold out pretty well. Still, he is by no means a celebrity; most of his popularity would only come into play within the niche crowd at local "live-houses" and music events. Outside of his band, Uenoyama is a fairly normal kid. He works mainly at a local convenience store and occasionally does part-time work as a laborer for a moving company, in order to keep up with the expenses that naturally come from things like guitar maintenance and music studio rental costs. He used to be in a band during middle school that broke up because he would constantly clash with them. But more recently he was adopted by mommy and daddy picked up by 2 older bandmates who he gets along with very well. As of right now his band is tentatively called "The seasons" (but this is more of a half-assed temporary name for them and it will soon change).

Summary: Uenoyama is the kind of unsociable, impatient person who has no time for small-talk and will make it very clear if he thinks you are wasting his time. Because of this, he usually gives people a bad impression of himself at first, and comes across as someone who is conceited/has a major attitude when meeting people initially. But once you do actually get to know him and have a good chat, it becomes apparent that despite his rough way of communicating, Uenoyama is a very good, caring boy deep down... (Although he certainly isn't without his moments of being a truly smug bastard!)
